It's hard to believe that we at What's Up have been selling kites for over 30 years
In 1976 we saw our first kite store and opened a small (240 sq. ft.), retail kite shop. Several years later, we bought What's Up, a wholesale kite distributor, and continued to run both operations until 1988 when we closed the retail store.
We are now focusing on Kites…on a Roll® and other kite making products. Our store front; this time on the Internet. What an incredible, uplifting (pun intended) experience!
We have learned a lot about kites during the past 30 years. The fun of flying, their history and impact on science and cultures, beauty, even the frustrations of dealing with a not-too-good wind.
We hope to share all this with you as you and your kids create your very own flying masterpieces from our Kites…on a Roll®.
